Aircon Installation Warranty Terms & Condition
Warranty Coverage
⇒ All airconditioner installed by Kim’s Aircon are covered by a warranty period of twelve (12) months from the date of handover.
⇒ If the air-conditioner is defective in equipment or workmanship during the applicable warranty period, the cost of repair or replacement of such defective parts will be free of charge, provided that the aircon had been properly used and maintained.
⇒ An additional warranty for compressors will be covered by the manufacturer. Duration of the compressor warranty will be stipulated by individual manufacturer coverage.
⇒ Compressor warranty will only cover the compressor; cost for labour and materials to check and replace it are chargeable, with the exception of the first 12 months.
⇒ The customer shall, during the duration of the warranty period, report any defects or malfunctions to Kim’s Aircon promptly for assessment and resolution.
⇒ Troubleshooting and repair/replacement works shall be done during our operation hours only. Emergency services are chargeable and subjected to availibility.
⇒ There shall be no extension of warranty duration.

Warranty does not cover
⇒ Routine/non-routine servicing or maintance of unit, unless otherwise stated under promotional offers.
⇒ Remote controllers, indoor filters, plastic panels, and any detachable parts or accessories. The definition of detachable parts or accessories will be solely determined by Kim’s Aircon.
⇒ Any special equipment/scaffoldings/cranes/false ceilings/conceal access necessary for accessibility to the unit.
⇒ Condensation/damage/leaking of reused existing copper pipes/electric cables/insulation tube/ uPVC condensate pipe/trunking.
⇒ Any accessories that was purchased/gifted together with the unit.
⇒ Use of unit outside of Mainland Singapore.

Warranty does not cover any unit damaged by
⇒ Damage resulting from accidents, floods, fire, acts of god, or other events beyond our control.
⇒ Tempering, alteration, modification, misuse or changes to the unit without the knowledge of Kim’s Aircon.
⇒ Damage due to wrong AC supply voltage or subjected to abnormal voltage supply.
⇒ Usage not in accordance with the Owner’s Instruction Manual or not for purposes ordinarily intended.
⇒ Normal wear and tear, corrosion, rusting or stains.

Warranty becomes void when
⇒ The serial number is removed, defaced, illegible, or altered.
⇒ Tempering, alteration, modification, misuse or changes to the unit without the knowledge of Kim’s Aircon.
⇒ Any unauthorised repairs carried out to the unit not done by Kim’s Aircon.
⇒ The unit is relocated, dismantled, or re-installed at any address other than the original installation address recorded by Kim’s Aircon, unless such relocation is carried out by Kim’s Aircon.
⇒ Improper or inadequant regular maintenance servicing when necessary.

Limitation of Liability 
⇒ Kim’s Aircon’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts, as outlined in this warranty terms & conditions.
⇒ Kim’s Aircon is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the air conditioner.

Warranty Claim Process
⇒ Contact Kim’s Aircon with name, address, and warranty number.
⇒ Our service technician will inspect the air conditioner to determine the cause of the defect and the appropriate remedy.
⇒ If repairs or replacements are required, our staff will contact you for an appointment to carry out the repairs and/or replacements.

Transferability
⇒ The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

Promotional Item Terms & Condition (Extended Warranty)
Note: This extended warranty promotion is suspended for new sign-ups from [01/04/2026]. Existing coverage under this clause remains valid until its stated expiry. Superseded for new installations by the Kim’s 30th Anniversary warranty (see below).
In addition to the above terms & condition:
⇒ Customers are entitled to up to an additional of two (2) years of extended warranty when they sign up for the annual servicing package.
⇒ This promotional item is valid for purchase from the date of purchase up to one month before the end of the manufacturer’s warranty.
⇒ Extended warranty is provided by Kim’s Aircon.
⇒ Extended warranty starts from the end date of the manufacturer warranty.
⇒ It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Kim’s Aircon to arrange for a servicing date one week prior to the desired date.
⇒ During this extended warranty period, the cost of repair or replacement of such defective parts will be free of charge, provided that the aircon had been solely maintained by Kim’s Aircon.
⇒ Unused servicing sessions for the year can be carried forward to the next year, provided the customer continues to sign up for our annual servicing package.

Kim’s 30th Anniversary — 30-Month Warranty (Promotional)
Valid for qualifying installations from 1 April 2026 to 31 December 2026.
In celebration of Kim’s Aircon’s 30th anniversary, the following terms apply to all new air-conditioner installations carried out under this promotion, and supersede the standard 12-month installation warranty for those installations

⇒ All new installations are covered for a period of thirty (30) months from the date of handover, covering both spare parts and workmanship, provided the unit has been properly used and maintained
⇒ Where a manufacturer provides its own parts warranty exceeding 30 months, the manufacturer’s coverage applies to parts for its stated duration, and Kim’s Aircon covers workmanship for 30 months
⇒ Compressor coverage: the compressor itself is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Under this promotion, Kim’s Aircon covers the labour and materials required to replace a defective compressor for the full 30-month period, notwithstanding the 12-month limit stated above in the main Warranty Terms & Conditions.
⇒ To make a claim, customers need only contact Kim’s Aircon with their registered name or contact number; Kim’s Aircon will verify the installation record on file. Production of the original invoice is not required.
⇒ All exclusions, void conditions, and limitations of liability set out in the main Warranty Terms & Conditions continue to apply to this promotional warranty.
⇒ This promotional warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser. There shall be no extension of the warranty duration.

Services 30-Day Guarantee Terms & Condition
Guarantee Coverage
⇒ The 30-day guarantee applies to all repairs and maintenance services performed by Kim’s Aircon, valid from the date of service completion.
⇒ The guarantee covers any defects in workmanship and materials used during the repair or maintenance.
⇒ If the same issue recurs within 30 days, Kim’s Aircon will provide the necessary repairs at no additional cost to the customer.

The Guarantee does not cover 
⇒ Issues arising from misuse, neglect, or improper operation of the air conditioning unit.
⇒ Problems caused by external factors such as power surges, natural disasters, or unauthorised modifications.
⇒ Any parts or services not originally provided by Kim’s Aircon during the covered service.
⇒ Routine maintenance items, such as filter changes.
 
Customer Responsibilities
⇒ The customer must promptly report any issues covered under the guarantee to Kim’s Aircon within the 30-day period.
⇒ The customer must provide access to the air conditioning unit for inspection and repair.
⇒ Any involvement of other contractors with the unit after Kim’s Aircon has performed the service will void this guarantee.

Limitation of Liability
⇒ Kim’s Aircon’s liability under this guarantee is limited to the repair or replacement of defective workmanship or materials.
⇒ Kim’s Aircon is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the air conditioning unit.

Guarantee Claim Process
⇒ Contact Kim’s Aircon with name, address, and invoice number within 30-days.
⇒ Our service technician will be scheduled to inspect and address the reported issue.
⇒ If the issue is covered by the guarantee, the necessary repairs will be carried out at no additional cost.

Kim’s Aircon reserves the right to amend these warranty terms and conditions without prior notice.
