Regular servicing keeps your aircon cooling properly, running efficiently, and lasting longer. Skip it and dust clogs the filters and coil — the unit works harder, cools worse, and your power bill creeps up. A routine clean is the cheapest insurance your aircon will get.
How often should you service?
For a home used regularly, once every 3 months is the sweet spot. Daily or dusty-area use — keep to the 3-month rhythm. Light, occasional use can stretch to every 4 months. Quarterly is exactly what our annual packages are built around.
What a general servicing covers
⇒ Remove and wash indoor filters, drain pan, blower, front panel and cover.
⇒ Clean drip tray, drain pipe and the indoor unit surface.
⇒ Clean and check the indoor evaporator coil.
⇒ Flush the drainage pipe to clear blockages.
⇒ Check remote, thermostat and fan-speed operation.
⇒ Check refrigerant gas and air-outlet temperature (where needed).
⇒ Flush the condensing unit (where needed).

What’s the difference between general servicing, steamwash and chemical overhaul?
General servicing is routine cleaning for a healthy unit. Steamwash is a deeper steam clean for a unit that smells or cools weakly. A chemical overhaul is a full teardown for a heavily clogged unit. When in doubt, ask us — we’ll tell you honestly which one you actually need.
Do you service more than 5 units, or commercial / VRV / centralised systems?
Yes — we service all of those. They sit outside this listed price because every job is different, so contact us for a quote.
Is there a guarantee on the servicing?
Yes. Our 30-Day Services Guarantee covers workmanship and materials — if the same issue recurs within 30 days, we fix it free. It doesn’t cover misuse, external factors like power surges, or work touched by another contractor afterwards.
Can I add a steamwash to my servicing?
Yes — you can add a steamwash to any unit for a deeper clean. See the steamwash page for details and pricing, or ask us when you book.
Applies to residential wall-mounted and ceiling-cassette units with indoor/outdoor access under 3 metres. Non-refundable and non-transferable. Troubleshooting of faults on the day is included; gas top-up, parts and rectification are not. Servicing is carried out during operating hours.
